MANILA, Philippines - The 2006 “Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition” winner Kim Chiu happily shared her dream house to her numerous fans in a feature in the July issue of Star Studio magazine.
The June 23 edition of “TV Patrol” carried a report revealing the details of Kim’s multi-million, multi-layered house in Quezon City.
The young star, it seems, wants a very functional abode that has a mini-theater, make-up salon, modern kitchen, entertainment area and playroom. Her siblings have their own rooms in the very modern house.
There is a jacuzzi and a sauna in her bathroom, as well as an attention-grabbing customized walk-in closet on the third floor, which she calls a boutique, where all her clothes, accessories and shoes that she uses for tapings and pictorials are neatly organized. Kim’s collection of designer bags, some of which have been given by her affluent fans, are all kept in one room.
Kim’s loft-type room, of course, is the house’s main attraction, and its centerpiece is a giant customized pink bed.
The house sits on a spacious 600 square meter lot located in La Vista, Quezon City. She poured all her earnings from her 23 product endorsements into her dream house, whose construction began in 2010 when she turned 20.
Gerald Anderson, Kim’s former screen partner, gave expensive cookware and computer in her room as gifts.
Last year, as her dream house was just about to take form, Kim described it as “parang Barbie house.” She was exceedingly proud of it, saying, “lahat ng hirap, dugo’t
pawis, ito ang kalalabasan.”
