MANILA, Philippines — The second leg of Luzon Gamecock Breeders Association (LGBA) 5-Stag Derby series gets going Monday at Pasay City Cockpit with 60 quality fights lined-up.
So far, the frontrunners in the LGBA Gamecock Breeder of the Year race are former PBA cager Pido Jarencio and Allan Chan of Tarlac, each with five points.
Five participants with four wins each shared the title in last Friday’s derby: Boy Diaz (PH Blockbuster JZ), Cito Alberto (Destiny), Romy Apostol and Ren Castro (Jill Rock Princess Cyrene), Dr. Gil Nicolas and Anselmo Lumabi (Kalikasan) and Louie Zerrudo/ Arnel Espiritu/Arthur Aguilar (EZ Drunken Master CDN).
The remaining LGBA stagfests will be held on Sept. 19, 23, 26 and 30.
